Pineapple- A Tropical Fruit With High Nutrition Facts

In Vietnam, pineapple is grown quite popularly, distributed from Phu Tho to Kien Giang, and Tien Giang is the highest pineapple output area.

Vitamin C in pineapple brings unexpected benefits to the skin because of its antioxidant properties, and also helps protect your body by increasing resistance from free radicals. Pineapple juice helps reduce fatigue because it contains vitamins A, C, calcium, manganese… which help the body avoid the harmful effects of oxidation. Therefore, drinking pineapple juice will help reduce stress and work more effectively.

Some people say that eating a lot of unripe pineapple causes stomach upset, nausea, and diarrhea. Again, this hasn’t been studied, but it’s always best to select ripe pineapple. The flesh should be light to medium yellow.

There are promising health benefits associated with including pineapple in your diet. But remember that pineapple is best consumed as part of an overall healthy, balanced diet, and eating too much of a single fruit doesn’t provide all of the nutrients you need for better health.

Pineapple is a beloved tropical fruit that’s a favorite for dessert, side dishes, and fruit salads. Aside from satisfying your taste buds, pineapple is also a good source of antioxidants that may help improve your overall health when consumed with other inflammation-fighting foods. Talk with your doctor or dietitian if you have concerns about pineapple and whether it’s a good fit for your personal nutritional needs
